There are no special instructions on the use of this medicine – it is enough to follow the recommendations below:

  • tablets are taken orally with some water;
  • Dapoxetine can be taken before, after or while eating, the effectiveness of the drug doesn’t depend on the food.
  • It is not recommended to take more than one pill per day.

Dapoxetine is not intended for permanent use, so you need to get recommendations about the duration of the course of therapy from your physician. As a rule, the patient should take one pill for ten days and then make a short break. In general, the advisability of continuing treatment with Dapoxetine should be consulted with a specialist – in some cases, dosage increase may be required.

Contraindications

It is strictly forbidden to take the drug under consideration to men who have been diagnosed with cardiovascular diseases and liver pathologies. People with allergies should also take this remedy with much caution. Dapoxetine isn’t recommended in the following cases:

Special Instructions for Use and Warnings

But in some cases, the following side effects may occur:

Dapoxetine and other Drugs: Compatibility

It is strictly forbidden to use the medicinal product in question with the following means:

  • Thioridazine;
  • Lithium;
  • Tryptophan;
  • Tramadol;
  • Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitors;
  • John’s Wort.

Any strong painkillers and antidepressants cannot be taken concomitantly with Dapoxetine, sedatives, as well as many herbal medicines, are forbidden. Such drugs can be taken one week after the abolition of Dapoxetine. It is also not recommended to combine Dapoxetine with Ketoconazole, Ritonavir, Nelfinavir, Telithromycin, Itraconazole.
